Charles Webster is undeniably one of the premier names in the deep house music industry with a global following strongly made up of a South African base, and for the first time after many visits to South Africa, he will be gracing the Mother City at Deluxe, the Home of House!

As a Producer having been in the industry when house started in the 90’s and having produced for almost 20 years, it was not until he came to South Africa where he found his calling to become one of the world’s best deep house producers. The influence into his current production work is derived from the local deep house and afro scene. Mixing almost two decades of experience along with South African inspired influences and artists, it has seen him create numerous chart topping hits on an international scale, the last intentional number one in this category being Charles Webster Feat. Diviniti – Learning to Love Me. As a DJ; Through these South African inspired influences over the last few years has seen him command a respect like no other DJ/producer. Testament to this in being nominated as best deep house DJ for four years running (2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011) at the annual Ibiza DJ awards. An accomplishment that speaks volumes being four years in a row where gaining any recognition in the deep house industry has been hard to come by due to the rise of many production houses, labels and DJ’s.

It is evident that Charles Webster is surely just a cut above the rest. The sellout crowds of thousands up in Johannesburg confirms how huge he is, and now he will be at the best house venue in Cape Town for the local house heads to enjoy.

Many people will already know Shana from her previous recordings with the L.A group Bitter:Sweet (the band gained massive support from the USA’s most influential radio station KCRW etc. also, their tracks have been picked up by hit T.V shows such as “Lipstick Jungle” and “The sex and the city (film)”) and her guest appearances with French band Nouvelle Vague.

This collaboration with Charles is exciting new house music territory for the sultry voiced maiden, the track is a trademark Webster production; deep chords, even deeper bass, spacey sounds and funky beats topped off with Shana’s beautiful understated and very sexy delivery. Charles has provided 3 low slung 120bpm mixes, all of them mastered by Mr Martin Iveson and fully road tested to great effect on dancefloors worldwide….

On remix duties we welcome Willie Graff (resident DJ at Cielo in NYC and Pacha Ibiza) & Tuccillo (Pacha Ibiza)..these two Ibizan/Italian youngsters are some of the hottest dance floor property at the moment, recording for some of the coolest labels worldwide (Circus Company, Drumpoet, Liebe Detail, Freerange, Wave, Isgud etc) and the mixes they delivered do not disapoint…they up the tempo a little, making the track more energetic for peak time action, they fuse classic sounds with plenty of modern attitude.
